Cupcakes

Finally! A WDYWT after a million years....hahaha; what I wore to work.

(Forever 21 headband, top, skirt, t-strap flats from Hong Kong, Marc Jacobs Little Stam)

The deathlike/hell/fire-whatever bottom was unintentional!! The pink box -- that I put the camera on top of -- got in the way during the photo. :c

I don't have much to say other than I am extremely annoyed from all the ladies who print out a million coupons and abuse our sale (not that I don't do that too, cause hey, you want to be able to save what you can, right?) But then just the fact that they come here, use the coupon a million times (okay, I'll let you have that), but when something doesn't go their way, like just one minor thing ... like not letting them put something on hold, they just blow up at you! I mean it's understandable and that it's a part of my job, but sometimes it just gets so repetitious that I get tired of it! A huge migraine forms cause of it! :c It makes me want to hide out behind racks of shoes and avoid customer contact, hahaha. But for the most part, I love my job and the people there! Haha.

Oh and I had a nice surprise today at work! Thanks for the Sprinkles cupcakes Matty! c:

Sushi Okawa

Richard's Eastern Rolls

My Foxy Rolls
(it was supposed to be spicy, cause it had that Asian Red Rooster Chili Sauce on top of it, but it wasn't really spicy, haha)

My Mango Mochi, with a bit of whip cream.

When not working, I enjoy eating with Richard! Hahaha, he's the only person who will eat with me whenever, cause everyone else is always too broke. :c It's okay, I still love you all! We were planning to go to Sushi On the Run today because our friends and fellow Yelpers highly praise this restaurant and apparently each sushi piece is about 3 inches big/the sashimi is very fresh....but they aren't open on Mondays, so we've got to go on another day. Next time Richard and I go out for sushi, that's the next place we're gonna go to.

Today we tried out Sushi Okawa! We arrived at around 1;30/2ish in the afternoon, and it was fairly empty. Not too many people, other than the couple at a table nearby and ourselves. We each ordered a sushi combo, consisting of salad, udon, and a plate of sushi. Richard had Eastern Rolls and I had the Foxy Roll (coincidentally ... I am "KFOX.") They spend a bit more on decorating their sushi, unlike other sushi restaurants, and it was all pretty good! I forgot to take pictures of our salad & udon though because I was so hungry. I devoured it all before remembering to take photos. Hahaha. I also had a piece of mango mochi, which was a bit expensive, but I guess it was priced moderately at a restaurant ($2 a piece) x_x.

The salad was standard, the dressing was a bit too much cause it drenched the lettuce, but I still liked it, ahaha. Udon could have been a bit hotter/warmer though, but good as well. My roll had a lot of flavor, so soy sauce wasn't really needed. I liked Richard's Eastern Rolls better. I loved the ginger though! The mochi was yummy; the mango ice cream melted in my mouth so smoothly. Mmmm, ahahaha. Overrall, I thought it was quite good, the menu selection was not too big but there is a variety to choose from. I need to come back and try more of Sushi Okawa's sushi!

AKPsi Theta Banquet

Last last Saturday was our AKPsi Theta Banquet! I thought it was fairly successful, everyone seemed like they had a lot of fun and some even a little tooooo much fun ... where some slappage occured. Hahahahaha. Though I was probably the most sober out of everyone, other than Josephine, I still had fun!

Sitting at the top of the tiered tables, with our crowns and pretty dresses made me feel super happy and a bit more energetic. I was pretty upset earlier in the day cause I stayed up till 5 AM in the morning working on the scrapbook, proceeded with like 3 hours of sleep, followed by work at 10 in the morning. Only to end work, get in my dress, to have my zipper break!!! I was going to cry, cause I was so upset. :c I couldn't go to banquet with a busted zipper; my dress wasn't going to hold up! So I ran back into the dress shop to get it fixed, and the lady told me not to worry and as long as she got the zipper out, then everything would be fine. But it wasn't coming out and I was panicking, I was sitting there in a frenzy because it was like 6;30 and everyone was to be at the venue by 7. By 6;50 she still didn't have it out and I was about to burst into tears. .. but luckily, my tailorer is a pro, so she fixed it in the next 10 minutes. We ended up being a bit late, but everyone else was even later, so it was all good. Hahaha. Thanks to buddy for waiting for me in the scorching 90+ degree sun in his car.

"Don't trip potato chip!" "Don't trip chocolate chip!" "Don't trip poker chip!"

I'd also like to thank my bigs, Marvin & Denny, for being wonderful people during this pledging process. They're insomniacs like me and always there for me to talk to if I ever needed them .... even at like 4 in the morning! Thank you for the guitar, Hello Kitty tee, letters sweater, guitar lessons, and frame. I love it all, and I hope you guys like your presents as well. c:

And thank you Matty for the unexpected corsage! It was pretty and reminded me of prom all over again. Hahaha!

I<3thetas!
